This True Detective Fan Poster Blows the Originals Away (Pic)
This fan created poster for True Detective’s first season blows all of the others out of the water.
True Detective’s first season is still beloved by many. That probably played a big role in the reception of season two, something which has been pointed out by those who actually liked it. It’s fortunate that season two being poorly received (huge understatement) didn’t detract from what came before, as that can sometimes happen.

The poster features the True Detective tagline “touch darkness and darkness touches back.” It’s possible, even likely, that this is the best True Detective fan poster that we have ever seen. It perfectly captures the tone of the first season, spoiler be damned.
The original poster wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t excellent either. This one is excellent. This one is worth having framed for the serious True Detective fan. There are so many True Detective fan creations out there that to cover all of them would be madness. When it’s something like this, however, we are compelled to talk about it.
