San Diego Comic Con adds Lucifer and Iron Fist to lineup
San Diego Comic Con has added two more comic shows to its roster of impressive panels.
While Marvel and DC might not be sending all of their movies to SDCC this year, they will be showcasing their television shows. Deadline reports that Netflix will be bringing both Lucifer and Iron Fist to San Diego Comic Con this year.
The newly saved procedural missed the deadline to schedule a panel at the event so it’s unclear how large of a presence they’ll have at SDCC. Showrunner and executive producer, Ildy Modrovich, took to Twitter to share the news with fans today.

Lucifer was just recently renewed by Netflix for a fourth season after getting the ax from FOX. The series had one of the most impressive fan campaigns in recent history online. It doesn’t come as a surprise that the show would want to see the people who helped the #SaveLucifer campaign have so much success.
Deadline also reported that Iron Fist will be at San Diego Comic Con, however they’re expected to have a panel. Series lead, Finn Jones, is already expected to attend alongside a few of his other cast members. The Marvel show received lukewarm reaction in its debut but is hoping to win viewers over with season two.
Jon Bernthal of The Punisher is also slated to appear at the event, and rumors have started about a potential panel for his series. There’s been no word about when the second season premieres, but it’s been widely expected to drop sometime in the fall.
Marvel isn’t ending there though, with speculation of a Daredevil panel as well. The flagship series has wrapped filming for its third season already. However, there’s been almost no information about when new episodes will be available for streaming.
Next: Daredevil season three will supposedly introduce Bullseye
Typically, San Diego Comic Con has been a major event for movie fans, however, Marvel Studios won’t be unveiling new information. With no Captain Marvel, Avengers 4, or Game of Thrones, it looks like this year might be smaller than usual. Nonetheless, fans will still be happy to rub shoulders with some of the unsung silver screen heroes.
