More from Show Snob

It is shocking to believe that the show ran for only one season in 1999 but has had a following that is devoted and loyal to this day. Brent Hodge is the man responsible for making the documentary, and we will finally bear witness to it on July 16th.

The documentary will include interviews with the cast and crew including creator Paul Feig and executive producer Judd Apatow. Many of the stars of the show will also make an appearance, because if there wasn’t Freaks and Geeks they may not have had a career at all.

The show is single-handedly responsible for launching the likes of Seth Rogen, Martin Starr, Jason Segal, Linda Cardellini, and James Franco.

The documentary will also uncover what led to the show being canceled and an interview with the man who gave the order to do so. Some of the NBC executives who first ordered the series will also make an appearance on the documentary.
