This Week in True Detective is a feature that aims to bring you the best True Detective happenings of the week. This could include breaking news, popular articles, or anything else that people found interesting or may have missed.

As you may have noticed, today is not Friday. That’s because This Week in True Detective will officially be moving to Saturday. That way we’ll give any possible Friday news a little more room to breathe, making proceedings a little less cluttered. Sounds good, right? We sure thought so.

So, let’s begin!

  • True Detective managed to take home two awards from the WGA and creator Nic Pizzolatto was there to accept. True Detective also took home an award for costuming.
  • More photos leaked this week featuring Colin Farrell, Taylor Kitsch, and even Rachel McAdams. Finally.
  • We examined whether or not it’s fair to already be putting pressure on Vince Vaughn. Spoiler alert: it’s not.
  • Finally, we looked at the chances of a True Detective season two reveal arriving anytime soon. We’ve had the big Vince Vaughn interview, so it can’t be too much longer.
