But it also means that we’re one week closer to True Detective’s second season which will premiere in June. This week gave us a new True Detective tease that had the internet abuzz, but otherwise it was fairly quiet.
Let’s begin.
- We got True Detective’s UK premiere, which will come one day after North America’s. Be wary of spoilers!
- Next we tried to guess how supernatural True Detective season two will be and also tackled season one’s legacy
- There was a great Colin Farrell spoof from Irish show Republic of Telly.
- Cary Fukunaga gave a talk at New York’s Tribeca Film Festival and it’s worth a look. Spoiler alert: Matthew McConaughey is a serious dude.
- Finally, HBO release three motion posters to help tease True Detective’s second season. They’re basically glorified gifs, but they carry a serious message.
And those are all the True Detective happenings that occurred over the past week. But if that’s not enough for you, don’t hesitate to meet us on Facebook or Twitter. We’re real friendly.
