A Fan Made 80’s Inspired Credits for True Detective Season Three (Video)
At this point, it would be accurate to say that we know just about nothing about True Detective season three. That’s to be expected, of course; season two practically just ended. We won’t be hearing any solid True Detective season three details for a while. Not that there haven’t been some early rumors running about.

We’re entering the off-season, but that hasn’t stopped fans from stepping up to the plate. Take Herman Brock, for example, who created an opening credit sequence for True Detective season three. And it rocks. The clip takes cues from the season two intro, but creates an entirely new feel with a new cast and music.
This particular version of True Detective season three will star Ryan Gosling, Jake Gyllenhaal, James Franco and Cara Delevingne. That’s quite a cast.
The whole thing has a very 80’s vive to it. Combined the presence of Ryan Gosling and you’re already halfway to having Drive. That’s not a complaint, by the way. The casting choices here don’t even seem that farfetched, and at this early stage it feels like anything could happen.
This clip doesn’t seem to take into account the rumor that season three will be moving to Europe, but that doesn’t matter. If you would like one view of what True Detective season three could/should look like, you can check out the video below:
