This Week in True Detective is a feature that aims to bring you the best True Detective happenings of the week. This could include breaking news, popular articles, or anything else that people found interesting or may have missed.

This past week in True Detective was uneventful when it came to actual news, but that’s okay. We spent most of the week talking about last Sunday’s True Detective episode, “Maybe Tomorrow,” anyway. The third episode of True Detective’s second season marked a potential turning point in the series. But why spoil all of that here?

True Detective season two is missing a little of the artistry of season one, and multiple directors may be to blame. But it’s also far more complex than season one.
